Creality K2 Plus Cutter Rod Spacer

This is a spacer that can be installed behind the Creality K2 Plus Cutter Rod to extend the cutting distance of the rod.

If you are having issues with the K2 Plus not cutting off the filament all the way during filament change, it may be that the hot end is not moving sufficiently far enough towards the cutter rod which causes the rod not to push the cutting blade far enough into the extruder to cut off the filament. Given that the tolerances are fairly tight, this spacer is sized at 1mm with the intent you can scale up/down or print multiples and sandwich them together until you find the appropriate spacing to allow the cutting blade to reach far enough but without pushing too far and causing damage to your extruder. Start small, with just 1 spacer and increase until you find the right thickness to cutoff the filament consistently (I ended up with ~2.5mm of spacer on my K2 Plus).
