Reinforced Garage Shelf Hook

Needed a single hook to hang tools heavier than 800g, e.g. caulk tube + caulking gun. This suits garage shelving with 1mm thick metal, e.g. Montgomery 5 tier shelving unit from Bunnings.

Choose the peg with your desired end stop size and also print back plate. When assembling, the narrow end of the peg goes into the recess of the back plate. You will need a M3 35mm screw and nut for each peg. I recommend using a socket head cap screw due to the torque required to drive the screw through the peg - a Phillips head screw can work but just go slowly otherwise it will cam out. 

Printing

• PLA
• 5 walls, 0.2mm layer on a 0.4mm nozzle
• Pause required at the end of layer 22 (4.4mm) to insert nut
• Print order: Outside to inside, to avoid making a mess at the beginning of layer 23 (4.6mm)
