Description
Since we plan to always have the car connected to the wallbox when not in use, we wanted a cover. This will provide additional protection for the charging port from rain and snow.
To prevent the cover from scratching the paint, we are printing the cover in TPU 95A. Print this part with support.
For the locking mechanism, like the original cover, we are using an ASA insert. This is simply pressed in. This should be clearly visible in the pictures. Print this part without support with the wider side down.
Caution: Place the insert that the slot is vertical and fits to lock at the car.
The upper slope in the pictures doesn't look good. This isn't due to the model, but rather to my ability to print TPU with support. In the model file, this surface is flat.
This my first version
