Yaesu FT-891 Remote Head Swivel Mount

This is a Yaesu FT-891 radio mount that swivels for mounting your radio in a Go Box or some other really cool place.

10-24 screw and nut x2 - I buy these locally.
M4 screw for mounting the radio to the support. This is probably in your box of parts left over when you purchased your radio. BE SURE IT ISN'T TOO LONG!!!

How to Assemble

In the back of the radio swivel are two holes. Press a M3 nut into each of these holes. Then take the two M3 screws and fasten them through the mount to the radio swivel.

Use an M4 screw to mount the head to the swivel.

Mount the entire assembly where you want it. The holes are made for 10-24 machine screws, but anything is possible.

Notes

The swivel was designed to click against the mount. If you have trouble with it, you can either shave some off of the mount edges or print one with a slight fillet. This was on purpose to keep the radio from sitting upright without intention.
