Squid Lure EGI 3.0 – 90 mm Jig for 3D Printing

This is a 3D model of an EGI 3.0 (90 mm) squid jig, designed for both shore and boat fishing. Perfect for anglers who enjoy making and customizing their own lures.

What’s included:

• STL file of the jig body, ready to print
• STL file to create a silicone mold for casting the lead weight

Special feature:
The lure includes a removable base designed to make painting and finishing easier. This base holds the lure steady while you paint, and can be easily removed afterward with a cutter, scalpel, or small pliers.

Recommended print settings:

• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Infill: 1% (just enough for buoyancy and lightness)
• Walls: 2 perimeters
• Material: ASA filament is recommended for its UV resistance, strength, and durability in saltwater.

Of course, feel free to experiment! PETG, PLA+, or other materials might also work depending on conditions and what you’re testing.

Rigging recommendation:
Use a front snap made from 0.8 mm 316 stainless steel wire, shaped with a twisting plier for a secure and professional finish.

Hooks recommendation:

Post-processing suggestions:
After printing, sand, paint, and clear-coat the lure for a premium finish. Add eyes, cloth wraps, or small rattles to personalize your jig and improve its effectiveness.
