Sunlu Jayo AW Filament Roll AMS weight

If you experienced a little hopping of the filament rolls within the AMS, it is maybe caused by a low filament roll weight. The solution is to increase the weight of the spool.

There are a few similar models, but i was not happy with them, so i've made my own.

It is easy to print and does not need any supports.
The thread is made for 3d printing myself, you should see beautiful prints of them.
To gain weight, you can fill the container with whatever you prefer (nuts, screws, scrap,… ) i do not recommend fluids or fine sand, bigger stones are ok.

Technical stuff:

0.4mm nozzle
0.2mm layer height
PLA+ or PLA 2.0 or PETG recommended
~ 62g
~ 1h 20m printing time
no supports / brim etc.

Added 3mf file from OrcaSlicer as a “open grid” variation which can also be used with desiccant silica to prevent moisture in the AMS. (Hopefully the file work for you)

Added some make images as well.
