Description
I have been on a journey to fix my layer shift issues recently, as I am trying to print ASA in a pop-up enclosure and the cause might be because the Einsy board was getting too hot. Going off of the original model that optimizes the cooling of the board by flipping it around, this allows for a 4010 to be attached to the case to better cool the board as well.
There are three files, each serving a different purpose.
Hardware:
4x M3x16 SHCS
Results
Having a 4010 fan lowered the board temperature (in my case) by approximately 10c to around 45-50c, as opposed to no fan, which was measured via the onboard Einsy probe and read around 60c.
Notes: The screws for the fan screw into the plastic, no need for heated inserts. Additionally, the fan should be pushing air into the case - designated by the fan sticker on being on the inside of the case. Its best to move the wires going out to the toolhead to the side so air can effectively move throughout the case.
