Description
I went looking for an SD hard holder and there are a lot of them. Most of the holders I saw had too few slots for cards ( not enough for my needs ). So I decided to make one myself. You like, Great! You don't like, Fine.
This can hold 6 USB-A thumb drives, 2 USB-C drives, 10 SD Cards, and 12 MicroSD cards.
Maybe the unique thing this does is the USB devices are “fanned” out and the SD cards are divided and on angled faces … to make them easier to grab, I guess. Spacing is completely arbitrary - it “felt” compact enough, but still usable.
I printed the one in the photos in ABS on my Qidi Plus-4 at 0.24 layer height. This took about 1.5 hours to print. It looks a little rough to me - sort of industrial. I would suggest a finer layer height and don't print in black. Print it in gray or something lighter to provide contrast for the black SD cards.
NOTE on tolerances:
These slots are all sort of loose by at least 0.5mm. Hopefully it shouldn't matter if you are printing exclusively or inclusively or right on the bead centerline.
