Multi Material TPU Container Watertight

This 3D-printed small container features a flexible TPUlid that provides a snug and elastic seal, while the container itself is made from PLA. 

The combination of the flexible TPU lid and the rigid PLA container creates a functional design that offers both durability and flexibility. It's perfect for small storage purposes or as a decorative piece.

Ideal as a test print for your Multi Material printer that you don't have to throw away but find some usage for it after printing ,-)
 

This is my first attempt. I tried to create it as watertight as possible and to have the connection points strong but slim enough to feel somehow natural.

There are small “barbs” to join the two materials together.

Scaling:
Since this Design is completely printed you can simply scale it!

But you might need some supports for the top (bottom) part of the container :)

Tipp:

Sometimes the print will come out cleaner if you split them into objects. But don't move the parts afterwards!
