Description
This filament clip features two print In place clips that securely hold the filament.
Print settings:
Filament: PETG, ASA, ABS
Nozzle: 0.4mm
Layer height: 0.20mm
Wall: 3
Notes:
If you are concerned about the first layer adhesion, use the "with Brim" version of the model, which includes a built-in brim.
Avoid printing with PLA if you plan to use a filament dryer. I tested PETG, ABS, and ASA, and PETG’s holding strength decreased at 65°C, while ABS and ASA had no issues even at 70°C. (My Eibos Polyphemus only goes up to 70°C, so I haven’t tested anything higher than that.)
The seam position inside the clip's beak can affect smooth filament snapping, so it should be avoided.
I recommend setting the scale factor to 101% when printing with ABS.
