SEWING MACHINE SPOOL PIN

Description

The Singer Sewing Machine models mentioned above have a major design flaw:- the thread spool pin is in the way of the handle, and it's very easy to be a little careless and snap it off while lifting the machine.

A replacement part is available in the after-market but they are quite expensive and take a lot more time than a fifteen minute print.

Installation is a bit tricky as the side and bottom panels have to be removed before the back panel - once the back panel is free it's an easy job.

This is designed to print without supports - I printed it on my Prusa MK4S in Buddy PLA using  0.15 STRUCTURAL settings modified for six perimeters, in Prusa Slicer, and it's certainly sturdy enough to do the job.
