Randco Master Blaster 3000 PPD Emergency Air Horn

I had compressed air horns, but the canisters are expensive and wasteful. I need something that will make a lot of noise when I'm on the sailboat, riding a recumbent trike or when charged by aggressive dogs.

This air horn is extremely loud, so don't point at people at close range. I take no responsibility for injury caused by irritated onlookers or loss of hearing.

** Updated: I added an upgraded version with retainers that allow you to add a camera shoulder strap for EDC. Also, I had to replace the left strap retainer .3mf as there was an error with it.

Parts

1. Fabin 12v air horn (you can use either high or low tone, I used low)
2. Momentary switch
3. DeWalt 12v battery adapter
4. 3mm and 4mm Voron inserts
5. 4 x 3mm pan head screws and 2 x 4mm pan head screws

Printing

1. I chose to print the right side enclosure with text up, using supports, to get a smooth exterior finish
2. I printed with an OPXL5H, .4 nozzles, input shaper, .20 structural layers, Polymaker Polylite PETG, 10% gyroid infill

Assembly

1. Very straightforward
   1. Heat 3mm Voron inserts for the shell retainer screws and 4mm inserts into the bottom of the shell for the battery holder
   2. Screw the battery holder to the bottom of the right side enclosure
   3. Solder the red wire from the switch to the red wire from the battery holder
   4. Solder the black wire from the switch to one of the horn spades
   5. Solder the black wire from the battery holder to the remaining air horn spade
