Description

The original model by ressu can be downloaded here. Changes from the original:

  • Redesigned the wall near the lever. The original model has a strange dust-gathering hole there. If you measure SMD components, a tiny thing can jump inside the case into that hole and it will be difficult to get it out.
  • Removed all the labels from the front shell because I don't like their style :)
  • Added my version of the labels. This is optional, because I found that they are not easy to print accurately if the Z-offset and the 1st layer flow are not perfectly adjusted in the printer. I attached a version without labels at all in case you want to try a bigger font or something else. Maybe it will look more neat if you print a paper label on a laser printer and glue it. As for me, I decided that it's OK to keep it as it is, at least I can read it and understand what contacts are used for.
  • Removed strange G G G letters on the front side of the bottom shell. I don't understand what they can be used for, so I think the case will be stronger without them. Update: as the original author explained later, G stands for the ground. So if you need these G letters, you can print the bottom shell from the original model, they are 100% compatible.

Everything else is designed perfectly, it fits my board from the first try. If you use screws but not bolts I recommend to reduce the diameter of the holes on the bottom shell, because it is not easy to find short screws that will fix strong enough in such big holes. I used 3x12mm screws, but it's the only thing I could use to join the top and the bottom parts - the longer screws will not fit, the shorter ones will not hold.
