Description
I created this small case to encase my RFID charging ‘droplet’ tag. The opening for the keychain broke after a few weeks of usage, so I needed to fix this.
This case is a simple print (10 minutes). It fits perfectly for the (dutch) ANWB charging tag. Hopefully this will also fit other ‘brands’.
Print it in PLA or PETG, choose fancy colours and if you want add a logo, or text on it (e.g. use PrusaSlicer for this).
I printed it:
No supports are needed.
Place the tag inside, and glue both sides with a droplet of CA glue.
Update: 16 nov 2025 - A version 2 of this model, with slightly thicker walls, which should facilitate printing.
Update: 18 nov 2025 - Version 2.1 (deleted v2). It seems that V2 was slightly too tight for the Shell recharge droplet. Made this version slightly bigger (plus V2 thicker walls). (Thank you @Djordy for the kind feedback)
Tip: The case was modelled on the ANWB (dutch) NFC droplet. In case your NFC droplet is slightly bigger you can also make the sliced model bigger by changing the scale factors (as they are called in the Prusa slicer) for example 100% → 101% or 102% (or more).
Don't hesitate to send me a DM to check if I can customize it a little. I can always see what is possible (or not).
