Name badge with swappable name plat for custom electronic board

This is the enclosure for the custom electronic name badge I designed to showcase your minibadge or SAO with your handle/name. The enclosure is custom designed to have a hot swappable name plate that gets lit up by the LEDs on the board. There is a flat back or back with indents or magnets depending on how you want to attach the wearing mechanism. I also have a full 3mf file from my Bambu X1C for multi color name plates just remove one of the sets to print well and also has the filament option insert to change color and help with light diffusion if you would like. Name plate does slide does not have a stop so slides easily with friction holding it on only and is held with help from electronic board.

The name plat needs a negative part added as your name and indent into the part as you would like. Recommend printing this in .16 mm layer height and have text rotated 90 degrees so text start at top and is on the large flat side. If you want to have name first, then display piece then print at 270 degrees rotation.

The main case with magnet indents needs to print at .2 mm layer height or the indents become holes at .16 mm layer height. ***NOTE (12 Aug 2025) - the new bambu slicer keeps wholes even at .2 mm ***

***Updated note you can inset the name more into the badge so it only has one layer before LEDs if you would like.
