Description

Magnet beads

Add magnetic beads to create unique connectable fidget toys, meditation beads or just fashion accessories.

Each bead has dimensions around 10mm per direction and space for multiple 3x2mm magnets, which can be fixed with (hot) glue.

Magnet sockets have tolerances of 0.2/0.1mm, with all parameters being adjustable inside the FreeCAD source file:

Middle beads

Middle beads can connect to each other and to end pieces.

Be sure to switch the magnet polarity with every magnet.

End beads

End beads are used to connect.. well the ends :) But they also connect to the middle beads giving great flexibility while playing around.
Make sure to add magnets in opposite polarity, allowing the beats to connect together.

Three connected holes are used to tie everything together.
A string can be threaded into the first bead as seen in steps 1&2 keeping the string length variable. Those steps are repeated with the last beat, finishing up with a knot as seen in steps 3&4.
