Description
Just a quick design for an indoor or outdoor planter. Â A complete lie, since the first one took ages to figure out, but this one was quick! Â It is equipped with bypass watering channels, reservoirs and air-pruning features to help keep your plants healthy, wealthy and wise.
The pictured planter was printed using the 150W180H gcode provided in the downloads section.
It is designed to use a few solid layers on the bottom and then a continuous and unbroken profile all the way up the part. Prusa and Slic3r call this vase mode, while Cura calls it spiralize.
Cura also has a setting for top/bottom flow, which defaults to 80%. Â This will result in a base that is not water tight, so make sure this is set to 100% for this part.
You should be able to scale the models between the various sizes I've uploaded, but you may lose the bypass channel welds at some point. Â If you have a specific size you would really like to print, just let me know and I can configure a new file.
