Screw-in foot for 1" Wire shelving

I wanted to split a tall wire shelf into 2 hip-height shelves but was concerned about the sharp edge damaging the floor as more weight gets put on the shelf. This a foot that will screw in and spread the load to prevent damage to the floor.

Considering the amount of weight the shelves are rated for, I printed mine in PETG with 3D Honeycomb infill at 60% fill, with a 0.6mm nozzle.

Keep in mind that the thread is relatively fine-pitched, and it is easy to cross-thread with the insert being made of plastic, which is softer than the metal thread in the post.
