Description
EDIT: You MUST print this in TPU as stated in the description. If another person reaches out to me on Reddit because they can't figure out how to put their PLA buffer on, I might lose it. Please, PLEASE, print in TPU.
HOW TO PRINT
1) Have a printer. Important.
2) TPU, no support, on its broadside, 30% infill, 100% scale.
3) I used 50C on the bed, and 220C on the nozz. Neptune 3 Pro.
4) It's like, super simple how to put this on.
5) Like dude, the circle goes in the circle hole.
6) Put the top "firing pin channel” where your firing pin is. Yep.
7) Run the bolt by hand, it should go all of the way down minus your new buffer and the firing pin should not move. By bolt, I mean out of the PS90. In your PS90, the charge handle will bottom out before contacting the buffer, so you will not notice a difference. You can test the buffer by sticking a cleaning rod down your muzzle and pushing the bolt back until it hits the buffer, or by sticking your finger in the top of the stock while charging the bolt back, then pressing it down the extra inch or so of allotted overtravel.
Please let me know if you encounter any issues. This design hasn't been ironed out and still testing. This is intended for use with a lawfully suppressed PS90, with higher back pressure. I cannot guarantee that the PS90 will operate as intended without a suppressor. If you run into any issues, please let me know so I can improve the design. Thank you.
Tired of your PS90 recoil feeling like a polite handshake from a polite Belgian engineer? Want to turn that “thunk” into a “thuffff” with just the right amount of "pshh? Well, buddy, do we have the 3D printable miracle of modern mediocre engineering for YOU! With a team of the most talented and highly paid engineers with over 300 years of experience (literally my first time designing anything), I say….
🥳 Behold: The PS90 Stock Saver™! (it's not trademarked and literally free)
Crafted with the kind of love, precision, and questionable tolerances only a home 3D printer and too much caffeine can provide, this recoil buffer is here to:
Gently cradle your bolt like it’s a baby chinchilla
Absorb recoil like your mom absorbs gossip
Prevent polymer-on-bang crime (stock lives matter)
🔥 Features include:
100% fewer moving parts than a Glock trigger job
Compatible with PS90s, mild operator syndrome, and garage gunsmithing
Printed entirely from hope, plastic, and questionable overhangs
🛑 LEGAL NOTE: This will not turn your PS90 into a laser rifle. It will not make you shoot straighter. It will not make you French. But it might help reduce frame wear, and it will definitely give you that smug, DIY feeling of "Yeah, I made that."
💡 Pro Tip: Print in TPU for max squish or in PLA if you like the smell of regret after 200 rounds.
