Automatic dog agility timer

The Automatic Modern Agility Timer for Dogs is an innovative device designed to enhance dog agility training by accurately measuring the time it takes for a dog to complete an agility course. This project utilizes a PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor to automatically detect when a dog starts and finishes the course, eliminating the need for manual timing.

When the dog crosses the sensor's path, the timer activates, and the elapsed time is displayed in real-time on a 7-segment display. Additionally, an LED strip provides a visual indication of the timing process, blinking to signal the completion of the run.

This timer is particularly useful for trainers and dog owners who want to track their dog's performance and improve their agility skills. The device is easy to assemble, requiring basic electronic components and a 3D-printed housing. If a 300mm 3D printer is not available, users can glue two parts together for assembly.
