Description
I created these for my calculus teacher wife to help demonstrate how to calculate the area between two curves. Each model has two versions, 20 slices and 200 slices. The models use the same functions: f(x) = (x/2 - 3)^2 + 5 and g(x) = 1 - 2^(x/2 - 4).
I scaled the models up by 10 to make them easier to visualize.
The circle model is actually cut in half to make it print nicely and it doesn't detract much as a visual aid.
Printed on a Prusa Mk3+ using PLA. No supports needed. Draft mode works just fine.
