Description
A nice unnecessary mod to keep the printers power supply slightly cooler on long prints.
Designed this to take an 80mm PC fan and dust filter to blow air into the power supply and help keep it cooler. It attaches with 4 magnets to the power supply. I placed it at the bottom of the power supply, blowing air into it, so that the warm air is then pushed out of the top of the power supply.
I used a Noctua NF-R8 Redux-1200 fan as its super quiet and low power usage, but if you really want cool temperatures the 1800rpm version may be more suitable. I used the included 4 screws to secure the fan and dust filter to the printed part. The fan can just slide in and the screws then secure it in place. The magnets can be secured with a bit of superglue.
I printed all my parts with PETG instead of PLA for a higher temperature resistance, however ASA or ABS may be more suitable if you are regularly printing materials with higher temperatures.

This could also be done with a 5V fan and 5V PSU for the fan (or USB power supply).
