Description
The first print of the original model had some weak points, which I have improved in this modification. The changes are all done in PrusaSlicer and I only uploaded the PrusaSlicer project which contains all parts and modifiers. For those who do not work with PrusaSlicer, the changes may not be usable, so the modified parts - rotary handle and egg holder - are attached again as STL.
The two basic parts (mainmount and movablemount) have been adopted without modification. As the fit of the ball bearing in the holder was also a little wobbly, I fixed it in the recess with a small 1 mm nail. Unlike glue, this makes it easy to remove again.
The egg holder had to be lightly sanded with some sandpaper when I printed it so that it would sit perfectly in the ball bearing and twist grip. No glue was necessary here.
The most important change, however, was the 2 O-rings in the egg holders so that the holders didn't simply slip over the egg shell instead of turning the egg. For this purpose, grooves are simply inserted in the holder in which the rings can be fixed with a little superglue. Now the holders have the necessary grip so that the egg can be turned on the eggshell without much pressure from the holder.
The screw in the picture is an M4, although an M5 is suggested in the original. However, this caused my print to burst. However, I probably won't use the screw anyway, as the rubber provides sufficient support.
Last but not least, I mounted the tool on a small board with a support bar for pens and brushes so that the whole thing has a secure stand and you can concentrate on painting the eggs.
