Updates:
13/05/2025:
Added 12mm knob varieties for securing parts to boards. Original knobs were not intended for this purpose and were to wide as shown in one review. See files “Short 12mm knob” and “tall 12mm knob”.
Added “Deep” varieties of the support blocks, with text .2mm deeper for easier slicing.
Introducing “Fixit” (still not sure on the name ;) )
Fixit is a modular system I developed to help with gluing a large number of laser cut objects. It uses a special grid that allows m4 hex head bolts to be slotted in upside down, allowing for strong threads anywhere on the board without having to thread hundreds of holes.
Fixit boards are free and open source, but currently the (official) tools for it are $6.
Printed in cheap PLA, .2mm layer height, 2 walls 25% infill.
The board system can be found here:

The current tiles are designed to be screwed to wooden surface, as this creates a simple but robust outcome. I found complex printed connectors to be, frankly, a pain in the ass.
The systems hardware is also incredibly simple.
Most importantly, m4 hex head bolts of varying sizes.
25 or 30mm for holding clamps to table
60mm+ (80 is good) for side clamps and toe clamps
7mm hex head is the key dimension, which seems fairly standard on sites like aliexpress.
See below for details on current fixture options!
