Base for Squadron Quarterly Awards

A 3D-printed base for Quarterly Awards that allows easy addition of the category, award winner's name, and date, each displayed in a distinctly colored material for visual contrast. Print the model with 25% infill for sufficient weight and stability, and use 3 perimeters to enhance structural strength.

For the RMO (round metal object aka squadron coin) the measurement of 38.5mm diameter and 3.5mm thickness was used.  Since it's so small, and not very forgiving, I added .05mm to the dimensions for the cavity so that the RMO was still tight when placing in the trophy base, but wouldn't delaminate the print.  So the negative space was 38.55mmx38.55mmx3.55mm.

The printed Patch dimension should be modified so that the diameter of the inserted portion is 184mm and the thickness is 7.4mm.  This may take some adjustment since it depends on how your patch is designed.  The two I've done (the 46 TS Official and Unofficial Patches found here on Printables) is designed for those dimensions.  It may help to download/use those as reference.  Although I didn't add the additional .05mm as I did for the RMO, the snug fit didn't concern me and I've printed more than 20 without issue.

Finally, the only support you'll need is for the overhang for the RMO and Patch as seen in the photos.
