Description
Since my tumble dryer needed a deep cleaning, I also had to clean the condenser and heat exchanger. I looked online and realized that I could 3D print the part myself. I based it on a model made by Lada and referenced pictures of the official spare part to model it as accurately as possible.
I’m not entirely sure about the purpose behind the original geometry - it seems overly complex. However, it’s possible that some dryers use the three holes in the front to clip something in. Additionally, I figured this design saves a bit of material compared to a “solid” part. The “wall” ends up thicker without needing to fill a large void with sparse infill, that potentially can fill up with water - which is a win.
