Description
The oddball Klipper version that is locked down on the Kobra 2 Max was putting a damper on my joy of snagging one of these printers on Ebay for $162 shipped. I had a BTT SKR Mini E3 V3.0 kicking around and decided to stick it in there. I'm using an Orange Pi Zero2w as well as an Uctronics buck converter to power the Pi and a camera. It's a pretty snug fit in this orientation and a tight 90 degree USB cable is needed. I used some M2.5 heat sets for the Pi and M3 for the main board. I do recommend printing this in ABS or ASA since it will be warm in that enclosure. I haven't tested to see how PETG would hold up but it may be just fine.
The 1coderookie page that has a plethora of information about the Kobra2 series of printers along with wiring diagram was a massive time saver in getting this up and running and I highly recommend checking it out if taking this conversion on.https://1coderookie.github.io/Kobra2MaxInsights/hardware/mainboard/#wiring-and-pin-assignment

I dropped my newest printer.cfg in there. I still don't have the accelerometers setup. I will dig into that.
