1. Print, Print, Print …

I designed the FlowerPetals so that the layer lines follow the natural curves – it simply looks better in my opinion. Start with the Pro version – I put a lot of time and effort into optimizing these files, and they should work well with your slicer and printer. If you run into any issues during printing, I recommend switching to the Expert version or using one of the separate FlowerPetals from the Backup folder.

You can download them here and orient the FlowerPetals individually in your slicer. When placing the parts on the print bed, make sure the infill lines follow the natural direction of the leaves. The FlowerPetals and the FlowerCorolla are available in two sizes – plus there’s an additional LongBouquetLeaf to round up your bouquet.

🔹🔹🔹 Three folders included:

Pro – All parts included; ideal print orientation is built into the design.

Expert – All parts included;  you need to set the print orientation in your slicer.

Backup – Contains loose FlowerPetals for manual rotation in your slicer (usually 45° infill angle); includes parts from both Pro and Expert.

🔧 I mostly used a layer height between 0.2 and 0.28 mm. 
Depending on your print bed, a brim of at least 2 mm might be helpful for the Ovary.

2. Get Creative – Shape the FlowerPetals

Boil about 200 ml of water and pour it into a heatproof glass or bowl.

Get your FlowerPetals ready – now the fun part begins!

Dip each FlowerPetal like a teabag into the hot water for about 3 seconds.

Right after removing it, shape it with your fingers – the material cools quickly.

(My testers and I didn’t find it too hot to handle during shaping.)

Dip again if needed or you don't like the form or just partially reheat and reshape it.

If it becomes too difficult to shape the material, the water has probably cooled down too much.

Shape all six FlowerPetals and set them aside.

⚠ Make sure the glass or bowl is on a safe, stable surface – especially if kids are involved.

3. Prep & Assemble

Set aside the hot water to avoid accidents.

Place the assembly tool on a stable surface.

🔧 Assembly steps (see image guide):

Place the StigmaConnector (pin up) onto the AssemblyTool.

Slide the FlowerCorolla onto the pin.

Slide on two shaped FlowerPetals.

Press the style onto the pin using your thumb and forefinger – firmly until you hear multiple clicks.

Push the Ovary onto the ball joint of the FlowerStyles.

Carefully remove the nearly finished flower from the AssemblyTool.

4. Add Stigma & Stamens

Cut a 200 mm piece of 1.75 mm filament in the desired color.

Insert 6 pieces into the outer holes of the FlowerCorolla:

Twist slightly while inserting until you hear a faint creak. Trim them at about halfway down the crown. Continue with the other holes.

Insert the 7th piece into the center hole for the StigmaConnector and trim it flush with the FlowerCorolla.

💡 Tips:

If the filament is too loose, use a drop of superglue or warm the tip slightly with a lighter before inserting.

If it’s too difficult to insert the filament into the hole, you can cut it at a slight angle or use needle-nose pliers to help push it in.

Want a more realistic look? Heat and gently pull the filament to taper it for a more natural shape.

5. Add the Bud Leaf

Shape the bud leaf like the FlowerPetals.

Insert it into the open side of the FlowerStem – ideally the side that was facing up during printing.

Trim or reshape it slightly with a scissors if needed.

Then push it together with the Ovary stem into the FlowerStem until everything fits snugly and reaches the stop.

6. Styling & Variations

All FlowerPetals are also available as individual files.

Pay attention to how the infill lines follow the leaf pattern in your slicer.

FlowerPetals and FlowerCorollas come in two sizes for more variety.

There's also an additional LongBouquetLeaf to round out your final bouquet – it can also be heated and twisted in opposite directions to make it look even more realistic.

1. Drucken, drucken, drucken…

Ich habe die Blätter so konstruiert, dass der Druckverlauf optisch den natürlichen Linien folgt – das sieht für meinen Geschmack natürlicher aus. Ich empfehle, mit der Pro-Version zu starten. Ich habe viel Zeit und Mühe in die Optimierung der Dateien gesteckt, und sie sollten gut mit deinem Slicer und Drucker funktionieren. Falls du beim Drucken auf Probleme stößt, empfehle ich dir, auf die Expert-Version oder eines der einzelnen Blätter aus dem Backup-Ordner zurückzugreifen.

Ihr könnt die Blätter hier einzeln herunterladen und im Slicer selbst ausrichten. Beim Platzieren auf dem Druckbett achtet darauf, dass die Füllstruktur (Infill) dem Blattverlauf entspricht. Die Blätter und Blütenkronen findet ihr in zwei Größen für mehr Vielfalt – außerdem gibt es ein zusätzliches langes Blatt für den Strauß.

🔹🔹🔹 Es gibt drei Ordner:

Pro – enthält alle nötigen Dateien, die optimale Druckrichtung ist durch die Konstruktion vorgegeben.

Expert – ebenfalls vollständig, die Druckrichtung muss aber im Slicer gewählt werden.

Backup – enthält einzelne BluetenBlaetter zur individuellen Rotation im Slicer (meist ca. 45° -Winkel). Enthält Varianten aus Pro und Expert.

🔧 Ich habe meist mit einer Schichthöhe von 0.2–0.28 mm gedruckt.
  Je nach Druckbett kann ein Brim (mind. 2 mm) beim Fruchtknoten hilfreich sein.

2. Kreativ werden & Blätter verformen

Ca. 200 ml Wasser aufkochen und in ein hitzebeständiges Glas oder eine Schüssel gießen.

BluetenBlaetter vorbereiten – jetzt beginnt der spaßige Teil!

Jedes Blatt einzeln wie einen Teebeutel ca. 3 Sekunden ins heiße Wasser tauchen.

Direkt nach dem Herausziehen mit den Fingern in Form bringen – das Material kühlt schnell ab. (Meine Testpersonen und ich fanden das Material beim Verformen nie zu heiß.)

Bei Bedarf oder falls euch die Form nicht gefällt einfach mehrfach eintauchen oder nur stellenweise eintauchen und verformen.

Wird es zu schwierig das Material zu verformen, ist das Wasser vermutlich zu kalt geworden.

Alle sechs Blätter verformen und beiseitelegen.

⚠ Achte darauf, dass das Gefäß sicher steht und nicht umkippen kann – besonders wenn Kinder mitmachen.

3. Vorbereitung & Zusammenbau

Heißes Wasser beiseitestellen, um Unfälle bei der Montage zu vermeiden.

MontageWerkzeug auf einem festen Untergrund platzieren.

🔧 Zusammenbau (siehe auch Bildergalerie):

NarbenVerbinder mit dem Pin nach oben auf das Werkzeug legen.

BluetenKrone über den Pin stecken.

Zwei verformte BluetenBlaetter ebenfalls über den Pin stecken.

BlumenGriffel mit Daumen & Zeigefinger auf den Pin drücken – kräftig, bis alles mehrmals hörbar einrastet.

Fruchtknoten auf den Kugelkopf des BlumenGriffels drücken.

Die fast fertige Blume vom MontageWerkzeug nehmen.

4. Narbe & Staubblätter ergänzen

Ein ca. 200 mm langes Stück 1.75 mm-Filament abschneiden.

6 Filamentstücke in die äußeren Löcher der Krone einsetzen:

Mit leicht drehender Bewegung einstecken, bis es hörbar "knarzt".

Dann etwa auf halber Höhe der BluetenKrone abknipsen. Mit den anderen Löchern genau so weitermachen.

Das siebte Filamentstück für die Narbe mittig einsetzen und bündig mit der BluetenKrone abknipsen.

💡 Tipps:

Sitzt das Filament zu locker, etwas Sekundenkleber verwenden oder Ende mit Feuerzeug kurz erwärmen und dann eindrücken.

Ist es zu schwierig das Filament in das Loch zu stecken könnt ihr es leicht schräg anschneiden oder eine Spitzzange zur Hilfe nehmen um es einstecken.

Für einen noch natürlicheren Look: Filament erwärmen und vorsichtig auseinander ziehen – so entsteht ein dünner, organischer Stiel.

5. KnospenBlatt einsetzen

Wie auch schon die BluetenBlaetter verformen.

In die Öffnung des BlumenStiels einsetzen – idealerweise auf der Seite, die während des Druckes oben war.

Falls nötig, Blatt anpassen oder etwas mit einer Schere zurecht schneiden.

Dann gemeinsam mit dem Fruchtknoten-Stiel in den BlumenStiel schieben, bis alles fest sitzt und der Anschlag erreicht ist.

6. Gestaltung & Varianten

Alle BluetenBlaetter sind auch einzeln verfügbar.

Achtet beim Platzieren im Slicer auf einen harmonischen Infill bzw TopLayer-Verlauf.

BluetenBlaetter & BluetenKronen gibt es in zwei Größen – für mehr Kombinationsmöglichkeiten.

Ein zusätzliches LangesBlumenstraussBlatt zur Ergänzung und Abrundun deines Straußes – es kann ebenfalls erwärmt und gegenläufig verdreht werden, um noch realistischer zu wirken zu lassen.
