Qidi X Max 3 Mk2 XY Belt Tensioner

Over time the tension springs on the Qidi X Max 3 Mk2 become weaker being under constant compression affecting print quality. 

I saw a version which didn't cut it so i came up with this one. 

It's a lot stronger. I used 4 walls and 50% infill along with the default settings for Qidi ABS Rapido Metal. Tolerances are tight so a bit of fitting may be required.

After fitting the pair and making adjustments I found print quality did improve as the belts were not flapping around anymore which I think were causing backlash on the print head. 

It can be used without the tensioning screw to replace the stock housing if broken, but i would recommend replacing the stock springs with 30 X 7 X 0.8 springs and no plug insert.

The standard piston is reused.

Initial setup of the assembly is as follows:

Fit the adjuster screw to the turret so that it just touches the Plug insert.

install the spring and piston, check that the piston protrusion is about 16mm

2 X Button Head Cap screws M5 X35

2 x M5 Nylock nuts (low profile)

4 x M3 X 8 Cap screws (to replace the stock fixing screws
