Creality Nebula Camera Mount For Prusa CORE One

This is a pretty simple mount for the Creality Nebula Camera so that it can mount inside the CORE One. It can function as webcam in Prusa Connect as well as a live stream camera. 

I am aware of the Buddy3D for the CORE One and it's a wonderful first party solution, but at the time of writing it's 5 weeks waiting time. It's also not a live stream of the inside the printer, which I prefer. I also have a Nebula cam, so it's always great when you can use what you have laying around.

A word of warning, this is a very DIY route and you'll need to setup the camera on a raspberry pi / SBC. 

Requirements:

• Creality Nebula Camera
• This mount
• (4) cable holders
• (7) 6mm x 3mm Magnet. N48 or N52 recommend. 
• Raspberry Pi Zero 2 or similar Linux SBC

Printing: 

• Print as oriented, use strength profile in Prusa Slicer. 
• PETG is a minimum, but PC, ABS, and better are recommend for temp resistance. 

Assembly: 

• Take off the bottom metal threaded plate from the Nebula Camera, keep the screws.
• Insert 6mm x 3mm magnets into the printed mount
• With the magnets facing inside the camera, screw the mount on 
• Attach the camera onto the front left casing (see picture)
• Route cable towards rear left of printer and through the gasket (see picture)
  • You need to remove this rear cover and the top cover.
  • The USB plug is a very tight fit, but it will go through the gasket
  • Give yourself a little bit of cable slack on the camera's side for repositioning
• Pull the USB cable through the slot in the rear cover
• Install magnets in cable holders and put cable holders on the cable
• Reassemble

Software Install:

I used Prusa Connect Camera Script which I will not cover here as their documentation is pretty good. They have a guide to set up mediamtx, but I used µStreamer and the curl function to grab screenshots of the webcam stream. My .env for Prusa Connect Camera Script  ended up looking like this:
