I needed something more compact than either the original Socket2Me or the Socket2Me Deluxe. It needed to be small enough to fit in my EDC VanQuest pouch. I placed an S(AE) and M(etric) letter inside the largest hole for reference.
Printing
TPU can be challenging to work with. I used Giant Arm brand and it worked surprisingly well
I printed on an OPXL5H, .4 nozzles, .20 layer height full soluble, Polymaker Polylite PLA for supports, 20% gyroid infill, 4 perimeters
For feeding the finicky TPU I put the TPU in a Creality dual dryer with a 16" section of bowden tube that I velcro'd high. I also put a 6" section of bowden tube in the extruder. The bulk of the filaments just hung loose between the 2 bowden tubes. This reduced friction and worked pretty darn well (since I have an enclosure that prevents using normal spool holders). I used extruder 3 for TPU and extruder 2 for PLA supports. This allowed some clearance for docking.
The only challenge I had was getting the dimensions just right so the sockets would click fit into the TPU holder. I ended up putting a split down the middle to give some flexibility for insert/remove and provide some positive friction.
