Description
A shorter version is now available, as well as a thicker and stronger format of the original. The original version still works just fine for me.

Wall Mount Design
I’ve designed a special wall mount for attaching arms, such as those for a microscope, lamp, or camera, which are usually screwed onto a desk or stand.
This design came about because I was experiencing vibrations both on my desk and with a standard mount. Since walls generally don’t vibrate as easily, this provides a more stable solution.
Additionally, my desk didn’t have edges, making it difficult to securely attach a mount. This wall mount can also be screwed onto the back of a desk, but I personally prefer wall mounting due to its vibration-free stability.
It’s a simple but effective solution.
Why I Designed This
I found it unnecessary to buy an expensive, specialized wall mount, so I decided to create one myself.
You can attach it using double-sided tape, but I recommend screwing it in place for maximum stability.
For concrete walls, I suggest using only the top two screw holes (left and right) and the bottom one. This helps prevent the wall from crumbling, especially if it’s in poor condition or if the holes are too close together. For wooden walls, you can use all the screw holes.
Additionally, there’s a small edge under the block to prevent it from sliding off easily, though this feature may not be strictly necessary.
Feedback Welcome
I hope you find this design useful! If there are any issues with this version or if you have suggestions for improvement, feel free to leave a comment below, and I’ll work on it.
