Commodore CBM PET 8032-SK hood stand retrofit (screwless)

The 8032-SK model of the classic Commodore CBM PET lineup does not feature the iconic “hood stand” that holds the case open for easy access. With these parts, you can retrofit a similar stand that securely holds the case open between the most solid parts of the case. Its 100% removable and snaps into place easily.

Parts needed

1x Aluminum tube with 6mm inner, 8mm outer diameter (or similar) with approx 270mm length

Post printing

• push the two tube ends into the aluminum tube
• push the bottom recepticle into the right side of the power input bracket
• push the top recepticle onto the transformer carrier plate in the top side of the case
