Description
Various brackets to stack 2 (or more) 1541 floppy drives on top of each other.
The weight of the bottom device keeps everything stable.
The space in between provides enough room for ventilation.
I designed 4 models:
Single: a separate stand that can be placed anywhere (4 required)
Double: For the sides. The legs fit between the rubber feet of the 1541 (2 required)
Middle: Separate stand to connect and place multiple drives next to each other
Front / back: Bracket that slides over the front / back (2 required)
A combination of different stands is possible.
The brackets have been tested with:
Commodore 1541 drives, 1541-II drives and Oceanic OC-118N drives
I own more than 15 drives and was looking for a way to neatly stack them.
This is a hobby project, if desired I can upload the stepfiles
For the most stable setup I use 2x the side double brackets
