Informations
This is a Screen and PC Building to get a look a like grandMA3 Light Console.
Most of the Parts are 3D Printed. Some other CNC milled.
Here i publish all needed parts and informations to build your own!
Please note that this is a accessory for a grandMA3 Command Wing and is not related to MA Lighting.
Feel free to ask any questions about it. I will give tips and help here to get yours running :-)
Needed Parts
At first i will show you which parts you will need. I recommend to buy these first and then print and cnc the other parts to get a overview about the whole project.
PC Components
Cables
Screws & Hardware (Please use all V2A Stainless Steel)
Other Parts
Building
I recommend to first cnc mill the base plate to get all parts assembled step by step.
For the base please see the step and dxf file in the “01-Base” Folder.
I breaked the edges with a router and painted the hole base with black warnex paint. Here i used a paint roll to get some structure.
For all 3D Printed parts look at the table at the end of this chapter. There are some informations about print parameters.
If your base is ready please mount first the holders for the NUC and both power supplys. You find them in the folder “02-Holders”.
After that step you can mount your sides and middle support. These Files are located in “03-Sides&MiddleSupport”.
At this time you should press the bearings in the hinges. At each part 2 bearings have to be inserted.
Before you mount the display mounts you should glue the displays in. I use some double sided tape and hot glue from the back to get it rugged.
When the Displays are in you can mount the Letterbox Screens to the Sides.
After that you can mount the hinges to the upper display unit.
For mounting the hinges to the sides please look the images here at printables how to mount them correct.
For cabling please feel free to try yourself. I hate cabling :-)
At this time the Covers are needed. But this part is still in Progress!
Printing
Please get yourself the best printsettings for your best result. I printed mine on my Prusa XL with 2 Material Support.
Some Parts are needed to cut in to pieces.
