Description
I wanted to enlarge the forward assist button on my Haenel CR308, basically an AR-10, a bit. The button is used to silently close the action while hunting - by just pressing it with my thumb. The larger area works well in this regard.
It's a nice fit - and it also fitted my STI AR15 forward assist button, just a tad less snug. You can play around with scaling or just edit the Fusion 360 file as needed.
This is also a nice way to add a splash of color to your rifle.

I used 2 perimeters and only enough top and bottom layers to keep the large part filled.
The parts gripping onto the FA button are hollow, they bend a bit easier this way.
