Description
I want to add a power button to the TC1 Component Tester to completely power OFF the device when not in use, as it always goes into sleep mode, so it continues to drain the battery when it is off.
These Covers are designed to fulfill my upgrade needs and I hope are useful to someone else.
This cover improvement adds the following functionality to the TC1 Tester:
- Top Cover: full ON/OFF button to prevent the constant drain of the battery.
- Bottom Cover: A pocket around the USB port that allows the connector over mold to go into the panel to properly seat the connector.
Parts
The Switch Panel is designed to fit the C&K 1101M2S3CQE2 switch.
Charging Notes
Before attempting to charge the battery on the TC1, make sure the switch is in the ON position, otherwise the battery will not charge.
