Description
Had a Dragonburner laying around I wanted to mount on a Micron 180 with a Cartographer probe.
Did not want to print Anthead since I do not want to open/break fans.
Dragonburner “alternative mounts” did not seem to have a Cartographer probe mount for the Micron.
Micron mount is compatible with Dragonburner and has a Beacon mount.
Ran into 2 issues:
1 - Dragonburner fans hit the belt loop. Spacer is required (spacers available for dragon alternative mounts)
2 - Hole to pass hotend wiring on Micron+Beacon mount is really tight and almost did not fit in my case
I edited the Micron/Probe mounts and added 5mm. This does the exact same job as the Dragonburner spacers but at least it's built-in.
I also enlarged the holes to pass the hotend wires. This might have been resolved by simply adding the 5mm, but I wanted to make sure the problem was fixed.
Logically you will need 5mm longer screws when attaching the toolhead.
Worked on my Formbot Micron kit with an early V8 Dragonburner
