Create a hourglass using 2 bottles and these components for a simple school project. Model is created for bottles with 33mm inner diameter opening/neck.
Glue together the 2 parts of the funnel, best result is to use a 0.8mm/1mm diameter needle or drill bit through the holes to guide the positions.
Adjust the holes for the "filling material" before printing or after the printing using a drill bit.
Measure the running time of the hourglass by adding the “filling material” and stopwatch the time.
Glue on the lids, to the lower parts of the bottles. Don't glue the funnel yet.
Fill one of the bottles with the measured “filling material”.
Glue together the 2 bottles and the 2 sides of the funnel.
