Description

This paddle shifter is designed for easy custom builds, featuring a magnetic contact system that eliminates the need for additional sensors.

Key Features:

  • Magnetic contact: no switches or sensors needed. Electrical contact is made directly via magnets for reliability and simplicity.
  • Custom paddle mounting: M3x10 screws with 2.75mm hole spacing.
  • Base mounting: M4x15 screws with 7.8mm spacing.
  • Pivot assembly: M3x15 screw for the paddle lever pivot point.
  • Cable management: two dedicated holes for clean wire routing.
  • Adjustable angle: includes two angle limiters (5° and 10°) to set the maximum paddle movement.
  • Supplied files: STEP and Fusion 360 (.f3d) files included.

Magnet specifications:

  • Base magnet: Ø8mm x 8mm height
  • Paddle lever magnet: Ø10mm x 2.75mm height

Assembly note: One of the two magnets must not be flush with the surface to ensure proper electrical contact.

Wiring Options:

  • Wires can be soldered onto the magnets. If soldering, use a very quick soldering technique to avoid overheating the magnets, which could cause demagnetization or physical damage.
  • Alternatively, a stripped section of wire can be inserted and secured by friction once the magnets are installed, without the need for soldering.

This design offers a simple, sensor-free shifting mechanism ideal for sim racing or custom projects.
