Description

This holder is designed to be easily mounted to a cabinet or wall using M4 screws. The design is robust enough to support multiple spools without bending, and the spools can be easily placed and removed.

3D Printing Tips:

  1. Layer Height: Use a layer height of 0.2 mm for a good balance between print quality and speed.
  2. Infill: Set the infill density to at least 20% for strength, but consider increasing it to 50% for added durability.
  3. Wall Thickness: Use a wall thickness of 1.2 mm (3 perimeters) to ensure the holder is sturdy.
  4. Print Speed: Print at a moderate speed (around 50 mm/s) to avoid any issues with layer adhesion.
  5. Supports: Depending on your design, you may need supports for overhangs. Use removable supports to make post-processing easier.
  6. Bed Adhesion: Ensure good bed adhesion by using a heated bed set to 60°C and applying a thin layer of glue stick or using a PEI sheet.
  7. Cooling: Use a cooling fan to improve print quality, especially for the top layers and overhangs.
  8. Post-Processing: After printing, you can sand the edges and surfaces for a smoother finish.
