Giant underdesk cabinet with 2 drawers (with optional Gridfinity insert)

You need drawers under your desk and have a lot of stuff to put in there? Well, then this might be what you were looking for!

This is a big drawer cabinet which can be glued or screwed underneath your desk (if there is enough space underneath).

The cabinet has lots of space (for an underdesk drawer).

Note: Even though the model does use holes to reduce filament, it is still using a lot of filament. The frame alone is close to 1KG spool.

I printed the outer shell and the rails in PETG and the drawers in PLA.

Note:

• I do have two different upper drawers, one full and one with a separate divider to allow a tabletop rail to have space inside the drawer element.
• There are two main boxes, one uses a bit less filament, but it is tricky to print and prints much longer.
• I did print the drawer multiple times. The second incarnation had a stuck filament at the printer towards the end and I created a special front to make use of it anyways (see picture). However - as it is highly unlikely that you would get into the same situation, I did not upload that model.

Extensions

 I created many months later to the underdesk cabinet and / or the lower drawer:

• If you encounter that the drawer element might shift when pulling a drawer, you can add the drawer lock.
• Furthermore I created a Gridfinity inset which can be downloaded from here.
