Description
The magnets are inserted into the clip during two pauses that are preset in the print profile (two magnets at each pause). After the magnets are inserted, you must manually resume printing. Printer stops at layer 142 and 314.
This magnetic pocket clip is a must-have tool for carpenters, DIYers, and construction workers! Simply hook it onto your pocket, belt, or pants, and keep your screws, nails, bits, or small tools securely in place without stuffing them into your pockets (or worse, your mouth!).
🔹 Magnets: 4x (20 x 10 x 3) mm
🔹 Hands-Free Work: Keeps screws, nails, and tools accessible without the hassle
🔹 Secure Hold: Strong magnets ensure nothing falls off, even when walking or running
🔹 Dual Use: Can also be attached to metal surfaces for extra versatility
🔹 Print Note: Print pauses twice for magnet insertion—use my gcode or manually set pauses
My First SLM Prints with JUSTWAY
When I received a sponsorship offer from JUSTWAY, I was excited—but also a bit overwhelmed. What would I even want to print? JUSTWAY offers a wide range of 3D printing technologies—FDM, SLA, resin, nylon, and even metal—so the possibilities were wide open.
After some thought, the choice became clear: the Infinite Cube—one of my most downloaded models. Clean, minimal, and perfect for showcasing the beauty of metal (SLM) printing. I wanted to see how this abstract piece would look when brought to life in real aluminum.
But I didn’t stop there. I also decided to surprise my girlfriend by printing her balloon dog sculpture. It’s her own design, and something she’s incredibly proud of—so seeing it in solid metal was a special moment for both of us.
Placing the order on JUSTWAY’s website was surprisingly easy. I simply uploaded both models, selected the SLM technology and aluminum material. The online configurator was intuitive, offering various finishes and options—not only for metal (like stainless steel or titanium), but also for FDM, SLA, resin prints, and more.
Right after confirming the configuration, I received a price estimate, and the final quote matched exactly. Shipping to Europe took less than 10 days.
The packaging was neat and protective, and the final parts exceeded my expectations. No visible layers, no support marks—just clean, smooth, perfectly printed metal. I’m honestly amazed.
A big thank you to JUSTWAY for sponsoring this project and making it possible to explore metal 3D printing—something I normally wouldn’t have access to. If you're curious about getting your own design printed, whether in plastic, resin or metal, I highly recommend checking out www.justway.com. It’s definitely worth it.
