Description
In my setup, the PC is built into a location that makes the headphone jack difficult to access. I needed a convenient way to keep the audio connection within easy reach. That’s when I thought—it would be really practical to have the 3.5 mm jack directly on the headphone holder.
For this, I used a 3.5 mm headphone extension cable like this one {insert link here}, with an outer diameter of about 9.3 mm.
To mount the holder, I used two countersunk screws of each size:
– 3.0 x 16 mm for the upper mounting holes
– 4.0 x 30 mm for the lower mounting holes
Just clamp the extension cable between the front and back parts of the mount, then screw the parts together—start with the upper screws, followed by the lower ones.
