Meross Magnetic Sensor Mount – For Hörmann and Similar Garage Door Systems
Description:
This is a set of 3D-printed brackets designed to hold the magnetic sensor from the Meross MSG100 WiFi garage door controller (or similar models). These mounts make it easy to securely and neatly install the sensor magnet on garage door motors – avoiding sticky tape or improvised fixes.
The design includes two versions: one for the moving arm and one for the fixed rail – both tested on Hörmann garage door openers, but may also fit other brands with similar dimensions.
Included STL Files:
till portarmen.stl – for mounting on the moving arm
till skenan.stl – for mounting on the rail
Key Features:
Designed for Hörmann systems (e.g., SupraMatic, ProMatic), but may fit other brands too
Arm version includes a screw hole that matches the original Meross sensor screw
Rail version can be glued in place using construction adhesive
Clean and compact design
No supports required when printing
Recommended Print Settings:
Material: PETG or ASA
Layer height: 0.2 mm
Infill: 25–30%
Orientation: Flat side down
Supports: Not needed
Installation Notes:
Insert the Meross magnet into the bracket
Use the screw (included with Meross) for the arm version
Use construction adhesive (mounting glue) for the rail version
Make sure the magnet aligns with the sensor – typically < 2 cm gap

Compatibility Note:
Tested on Hörmann openers, but should fit other brands with similar rail/arm dimensions. Check measurements before printing.
