MPCNC Primo Z max endstop mounted on lead screw nut

You will need two M2x10 self-tapping screws to mount the endstop (for sourcing you can take a look at the Voron 0.1 BOM https://vorondesign.com/sourcing_guide?model=V0.1 ), the existing M3 screws of the lead screw nut can be reused. Although it wouldn't hurt to use a M3x12 so that it has a bit more grip. As Ryan told in the MPCNC instructions, don't make them too tight, check that the lead screw nut still moves.

You will have to remove the Z axis to install the endstop mount. Put the endstop mount on the lead screw nut before you insert the lead screw again and fiddle it through until it passed your tool mount. Then you can put in the screws into the lead screw nut again. Using hex nuts really helps here because there is not a lot of space between the Z axis and the lead screw nut at this step.

I am using endstops with balls at the end of the lever like Ryan recommended. If you use different ones, it may be necessary to put the end stop a little lower by extending the model and moving the screw holes. As I also release the .step, this shouldn't be a problem.
