Printing
Print two of each part. If you have a textured sheet, consider mirroring one of the two shells so that you have a similar texture on the outer sides.
Assembly
Required parts:
- 2x M3 nuts
- 2x M3x14 or M3x16 screws
- 2x 687 ball bearings (7x14x5)
- Press fit the bearings into the guides.
- Press fit the pins in the bearings' holes.
- Align the assembled guides+bearings+pins with the holes in the shell.
- Put a M3 screw in each of the two holes and fasten with the nuts on the other side. Feel free to tighten with a modicum of torque: the pins have some tolerance on both sides so that the guides can spin freely.
- Mount on the printer's frame by sliding from the top down, and then snap fit on the front.
Usage
Insert the filament from above the back guide and below the front guide.
