Description
I made this to mount the control unit of my Yaesu FTM-400XDR to the windshield of my ford E-series van above the mirror.
It is meant to angle the head unit about 10° down and 10° towards the driver of LHD vans for an optimal viewing and control angle for the driver.
It is attached to the windshield with 3M VHB tape and bolts to the back of the control unit with a M5 button head bolt. A ¼-20 bolt should fit as well, if your head unit has that attachment, but as long as it has a flat back, you could even use the same 3M VHB tape to attach the control unit.
Print in ABS to avoid failure in the warmer temperatures.
