Description
Wanted to do a Star Trek: Picard combadge with stand so here it is.
Update May 5 2024 - Widened the gap in the bars to look better.
Update December 19 2023 - Redesigned the whole badge to better match the screen prop. Stand base and leg were modified to fit.
The badge uses 6x2mm magnets.
When printing the delta, I used ‘variable layer height’ option in prusaslicer which let me set the groove's curving layers to be higher quality.
On the bars part I set it to 1 perimeter wall and enabled ironing which gave it a smooth clean top surface.
The delta has shallow notches to align it on the back and for me it snapped together so no glue was needed. If gluing, be careful to apply tiny amounts to the contact points to avoid bleed over.
