Figure Statue Base Stand

I was looking for a model of Wombat to print for a friend and found this set of Aussie folk animals https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-clan-of-aussie-folk-tabletop-miniatures-pre-supported-342676 from @Yasashii Kyojin Studio. 

I scaled model of Wombat to 350% and printed it with OVERTURE PLA+ Light Green.

Removal of supports was a challenge. Author made this model for resin printers, not FDM, so organic tree supports helped to print it but some parts of the model was very difficult to release from supports.

Once I was done with first attempt of supports removal I found that the model is too heavy on the back and a bit of a touch can shutter and push it on its back.

So I made this base model to put Wombat on it, but this model can work for any other figurines too.

I printed it with 0.2mm layer with fuzzy skin and variable layer height option.

I added here 3 options:

• 160mm with additional elevated foundation
• 160mm without elevated foundation
• 50mm without elevated foundation

Both sized scale up and down well.
